  • A book for all times

    Having read this book today, our country is on the threshold of going backwards into this "WE"ism garbage that plagues our country. A plague that, if not stamped out now, will throw us into a world of mediocrity and Socialism/Communism/Marxism. Those principle have NEVER worked in any society and will fail mankind every time. "I" is what made this country great from the beginning. Leaving a tyrannical England, Ireland, Scotland, Africa, and Asia... To begin again without the chains of dictators keeping us down. Please read this for a better view of where we may end up and let it be a cautionary tale to not repeat the fallacies of the past. A Great job by Ms. Rand.
  • Just read the book

    I'm a big fan of the graphic novel but I teach the text version of this book in my AP Language class. It's only 88 some pages and far less cheesy. Just read the original text, the graphics really don't add anything to the story. I do teach the graphic novel Persepolis and that is a book that needs the graphics to tell the story from the point of view of a child.
